Product description
The facility is used to separate and sort mixed metal scrap into different fractions such as iron, copper, brass, etc.
Scrap metal is loaded with a wheel loader into a vibrating feeder and vibrated for better separation. The scrap then lands on a conveyor and magnetic material is separated using a magnetic separator hanging above the conveyor.
The remaining material is then sorted by hand from the conveyor, which moves slowly, at four work stations. The material is placed in ICB containers that stand next to the operator.
The staff stand on lifting tables that can be raised and lowered to get the right working height. Material that is not sorted out ends up in a container at the end of the conveyor. There are four sorting locations.
